"I have been an avid horticulturalist all of my life. I began farming here in Santa Barbara at an early age selling my harvests door to door. This really piqued my interest as a kid."
After studying Agricultural Engineering at UC Davis, Nat honed his craft at local nurseries — including La Sumida and Agri-Turf — before opening Pro Garden Supply on Milpas Street in 2004. Today he's known throughout Santa Barbara as "the fruit tree guy" and the nursery is a go-to resource for homeowners, landscapers, and anyone who loves growing things.
The nursery is a true family operation — co-run by Alissa, with their son Aiden as junior garden pro. Walk-ins, drive-throughs, phone orders, and deliveries are all welcome.

Nat Waller

Nat Waller is a lifelong Santa Barbara horticulturist who started his journey selling produce door-to-door as a kid in west Goleta. After studying Agricultural Engineering at UC Davis, he honed his craft at local nurseries — including La Sumida and Agri-Turf — before opening Pro Garden Supply in 2004.
Two decades later, Nat is still on the floor every day, helping everyone from professional landscapers to first-time gardeners find exactly what they need. He's especially known for his encyclopedic knowledge of fruit trees — earning him the nickname "the fruit tree guy" around Santa Barbara.
